Prayers For Logan & A Raffle

Since moving onto base at Camp Pendleton
I found out that my neighbor's son is sick.
His name is Logan
and
he is 8yrs old.
His father just returned home from a year long deployment
from Afghanistan last month
and
about a week later they found out that Logan was sick.
He's not sick with the flu
or
the common cold
Logan is sick with cancer.
He has been diagnosed with stage 4 Wilms Tumor
which is kidney cancer that is found in children.
It is a rare situation because Logan is really too old to have this
type of cancer.
He is currently going through chemo for a six week period
and
then the doctors will do further testing
to see if they can operate on his tumor.
Logans cancer has now spread to his
lungs
and
lymph nodes.
Logan is a strong little boy who loves
animals
gardening
and
legos.
I felt so moved by Logan
and
all the pain that his family is going through.
My heart ache's for them.
I wanted to help Logan
and
I ask for all of you to pray for him.
Grab this button...

  4. That is so sad, I am in nursing school and no joke we just lectured over kindey problems. We spoke about Wilms tumors. I was going to say that they should just remove it but I see that it has spread.

I will be praying, I wish I could donate but I can't, hubby is getting deployed really soon and is in between pay checks. Hopefully you raise a lot of money.

My friend from church posted your blog post on FB :)

Did you know Corrina before? She's so awesome! Her daughter is on my daughter's cheer team and she embroidered all their uniforms and made them and us coached personalized bows.
